About "Angels"
“Angels” Patronage Service
“Angels” Patronage Service was created to take care of the wounded, the POWs, and the fallen fighters from the Azov units: the 12th Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine and the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Service was established in 2014 as part of the Azov Battalion (later Regiment and Brigade). In 2022, as the full-scale enemy invasion broke out, the Patronage Service also started taking care of the fighters of the units which were created by Azov’s veterans and united later in the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
Since 2014:
- We help the wounded with treatment, rehabilitation, prosthetics, and registration of documents.
- We accompany each fighter from injury to recovery and his return to the ranks.
- Along with the relevant structures, we deal with the POWs’ exchange, their treatment, rehabilitation, and legal support, including recovery of documents and payments.
- We assist in the identification and preservation of bodies and organize the proper burial of the fallen Heroes.
- We take care of the families of the wounded, the POWs, and the fallen soldiers. We notify, supervise the burials, provide financial assistance, treatment and accommodation, etc.
The Service is comprised of the military of the Azov Brigade and the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade taking care of their units’ fighters. Besides, it includes the employees of “Angels” Charitable Fund fundraising to cover the Service’s working expenses.
